Every business's goal is to raise capital, create large profit margins, and also to make an impact on the current moment in time. From our experience in digital media we have found that one of the prominant ways of doing this is by establishing yourself into online social networks. Online social networks allow for users to keep in touch with what is happening in your business without directly visiting your blog, or contacting you to find out what's new. What we have found from our experience is that by integrating your organization with online social networks you have a cost effective way to market you and your company. By using these online social networks you have a stronger chance of pulling new clients, serving current clients with free communication, and even creating profits through the use of these online social networks. So get out there and socialize as you will be surprised to see who you will run into and how they will correlate with your business in the future. Single Building Second Life Development Finished

Another project added to the portfolio! We have finished a small project in Second Life for a single building on a the "Mainland." As reported before, the building has a large foyer area that connects two large rooms, one for presentations and one to be used as an office. Knowing all the possibilities of Second Life, Informa wanted a place to conduct small meetings within their company and with potential clients. Informa plans to use this building for exactly that, while also creating a virtual presence for the company. Click here to view the portfolio images!

2009 Miami Valley CTC Second Life Class

As we reported last week Miami Valley CTC has started a Second Life class that will run through the remaining school year. The class with be taught by Andrew in collaboration with Melissa Seifman from Miami Valley CTC. Students will learn programming, building, modeling, texturing, and terraforming. Towards the end of the class the students will be broken off into teams and asked to develop a project for themselves with only minor assistance from Andrew and Melissa (similar to the students at Sycamore High School). We hope to use this experience to help newcomers learn more about Second Life and enjoy their time in this wonderful virtual world.
