Content Management System Complete

Client Projects, Company Information, Web Design No Comments »

Designing Digitally, Inc. recently completed a Content Management System for the North Texas Regional Library System, which is comprised of 74 public libraries in a geographic area consisting of 20 Texas counties. The Libraries for Literacy program was developed to establish literacy instruction programs in north Texas libraries. The website was created as a tool to provide information about the Libraries for Literacy project and also to house a searchable database of literacy programs. The main users will be librarians who will use the site to search for available literacy programs for needing patrons. Creating the site as a CMS allows NTRLS staff to quickly and easily add, edit, and delete literacy programs as often as they wish.

We are proud to announce that due to the hard work and excellent proposal writing of our team we have won a project to build a custom CMS system for a government organization! We are very excited to be able to have the privilege of developing this complex system. The sad part for those of you that read this blog is that we cannot disclose any specific information about it. But what I can tell you is that we are excited to develop this custom content management system due to it’s ability to push the boundaries of how we use these systems currently. Although we can’t give you much info, all of us here in the office are excited and we just wanted to share with someone….and well our blog takes the punishment this time! LOL!

So we had our trade show yesterday in Ohio at COSI. It was a STS & GSA government convention that invited the procurement officers to see what we could provide them in 2009. And as we all know there were tons of other vendors there but who cares about them right? lol…. We thought we would share our booth experience by showing it. Abby is in the picture but from the look on her face I do not think she was ready for this snapshot! Take a look as we did not get to put up one sign (Second Life) due to room. boo!
