KK Motorcycle Catalog On Press!

Posted on Thu, 09/02/2010 - 01:36

Designing Digitally Inc. has just completed a large scale catalog development for KK Motorcycle! The catalog totals over 1675 pages that were developed through our extensive design process. How did we tackle this catalog beast? We used our weapons; Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Excel. Our team worked very close with the Vice President of KK Motorcycle to ensure the most up to date information and application charts were used. This was a large obstacle. No standardized format of data existed throughout the multiple vendors. After some dedicated hours of brainstorming within our creative team, we were able to setup an extensive system that allows for a streamlined process to develop the catalog and organize the data correctly and efficiently.

This catalog is more oriented to the customer, giving them an easy "flip through" experience of an excessive amount of products. Branding for the vendors was added to the tops of the catalog pages to make it easier for the customer to search for their favorite vendor along with cover pages for larger vendor product lines. Each section focuses on making sure each vendor's product line stands out from one another while providing detailed application data for the user to reference to.  The style of the databases was created with the appropriate colors and styled with each section of the catalog in mind. By completing this well organized and visually appealing catalog, KK Motors will most definitely be obtaining more attention from their customers, as well as their competition this year.

Below is an image of the Goggles and Sunglasses section of the catalog. The catalog will also be up on KK Motorcycle's website COMING SOON!

Hercules Tires

Posted on Wed, 03/24/2010 - 21:31

The little things are what mean the most right? As many of our followers may know, we were the lead developers for Hercules Tires, in keeping with the design style and image we helped create, Hercules Tires recently contacted us with a small project to develop warranty pages for H-Series Medium Truck Radial Tires. We are always happy when we have returning clients and making sure all of our client's needs are met is our number one priority, even on the smallest of projects.

This casing warranty was developed for Hercules Tires along with a warranty page for their consumers. Using their branding typefaces and pantones, we created a simplistic way to show important consumer information.

Coming to a Biker Store Near You!

Posted on Sat, 02/20/2010 - 02:01

We do more than just make stuff on the computer look awesome, we make you look awesome too! We just finished a project for KK motorcycle with sponsorship from Dunlop Tires. The design was inspired by the recent catalog cover of their new and upcoming catalog which we have been developing for 2010. The client wanted something that would fit with a young generation, something trendy, and of course keeping in tune with their marketing style. They wanted something that reminds them of how they live their lives, in the dirt! And nobody wants a t-shirt that looks like its never been worn, right? So our team developed the apparel to incorporate the grunge style that has become so popular, to let the younger crowd know that KK Motorcycle is changing, growing, and developing into something pretty gnarly!

Corporate Identity Development - Logo Design

Posted on Fri, 05/22/2009 - 23:30

We mentioned earlier that we were working with a new client, KK Motorcycle Supply. Our first project (aside from the poster we mentioned earlier) was to redesign their logo. They wanted to get back to the logo the company was using many years ago...but with an updated look and feel. They also wanted 3 versions of the logo to be used in several different mediums (as they had many years ago). Below is the final result:

Extreme Makeover - Designing Digitally, Inc. Style!

Posted on Mon, 03/16/2009 - 23:57

Well it's certainly time for evolution at Designing Digitally, Inc. After over 6 years of using the company brand we have decided that it is time to catapult our own look and feel into the 21st century. While we are always developing corporate identities, promotional print material, and client websites, we have not had the time to take a long hard look at our own company image in quite some time. Now that we have had our team sit down and really discuss our look and feel we have decided to give our company a makeover! So what does that mean? Well, that does not mean that Andrew is getting botox (sometimes his eyes need it after a long week), Abby is getting liposuction ( if you knew her you would understand that this would not be possible), or Nick is getting a face lift (too bad he looks like a little kid in his profile pic)... But what it does mean is that our logo, website, and other promotional material will be updated in 2009 to give our company a more visually inspiring feel. That way we can finally look at ourselves and do what we have been doing successfully for other organizations for over a decade. Now that we have announced this we would like to share with you all the new 2009 Designing Digitally Inc. corporate logo concept. You can see a side by side comparison from the almost 6 year old logo compared to now. What does everyone think?
