Florida International University Machinima Complete!
We're proud to announce the development of a promotional machinima video created for our client Florida International University. The development consisted of our team developing the detailed storyboard along with the audio commentary. Once approved our team recorded each clip corresponding with the detailed sketched storyboard. Once we have all clips approved by the client we then mashed the video clips together using Adobe Aftereffects. Take a look at the finished development below: (take into consideration it's on youtube so it's lost quality in the conversion)! 1 week down on the SL Virtual Campus Development
It has been 1 work week since we last posted a blank sim telling everyone we have started another Second Life build. Our talented designers spent the days working with the client to provide an accurate needs analysis, planning interactions and scripts, and sketching the layout for the client to approve. We are now at the point where we are starting to lay down rough structures for the client to preview. Take a look at the evolution in 1 work week from blank island to what we have below:

Keep watching our blog to watch our team mold the sim into an effective and engaging virtual learning environment.
Contact us today if your school or University is interested in having a virtual campus!

Virtual Clearview Launched - Web Portal / Virtual World
We are proud to announce the development of the Virtual Clearview web based portal / virtual world counseling center. This web based portal is used to register their mental health patients for the virtual counseling center, as well as to provide resources, agendas, and even the ability to launch the virtual world from the web site in order to have a private counseling session with their mental health facilitator. This service is currently only available to the current members of Clearview Recovery until the start of the year where they will be opening the service up to the general public. This system is fully integrated into the virtual world so that users can post questions and comments to their counselor and it will show up in the web based system. They are able to schedule appointments with their counselor using the automated system that is tied into both the virtual world and into the web site allowing for synchronization between both systems. We are proud of this development and look forward to watching Virtual Clearview provide a virtual counseling service to their clients.

We’ve broken ground on another virtual world headquarters and training facility! #secondlife
We are happy to announce that we broke ground on another virtual world project today. The space will be architecturally designed as a beautiful mansion in the south Hamptons. This space will be the virtual headquarters for the client and focused on training upper management at their corporation. This client will use the virtual space to deliver distance meetings, online collaboration, and online branch meetings. Surrounding this headquarters will consist of serious game based learning tools that will allow users to interact with the space while succeeding in company assessments. We are proud to break ground on this space and will keep posting to show you the progress throughout the development. Below is a picture of the new virtual word sim and our team preparing to start the build.

Note: Sean (far left avatar) was asked to reset his avatar after this picture was taken.
He should not be taller than Andrew as he is officially the shortest person in our office. LOL!

Second Life - University Mascots - Virtual Campus Design
Lately our team has been building virtual campus after virtual campus and focusing on the learning aspect of the space. But sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses. These might not be a specific aspect of the learners engagement, but we love to see the detailed 3D models of the schools' mascots our developers have created. We thought that since these islands are not open to the public to view that we would provide you with snapshots of these mascots just for fun. Check them out!

Building Another Virtual Campus - Keep watching our blog for progress
We are proud to announce that we are building another virtual campus for a University! We cannot disclose who this client is at this time, but we will be posting pictures throughout the process of building it. We will be implementing advanced programming so that the virtual campus is tied directly into their Learning Management System in which allows them to create and track assessments. We will also be setting up all the multimedia on the campus such as live streaming video, interactive white boards, streaming podcasts, interactive games, and even community events. There are many other features we will be developing, but we cannot give all of our secrets away. This virtual campus will be completed by our team within 30 days! So please stop by and visit our blog to view more progress on this development. See our blank canvas below:
