The Challenge:
Ohio ASCD takes pride in serving communities with quality professional development opportunities. One of those services is providing conferences frequently throughout the year. With this in mind, the client wanted to redevelop their web presence so they could post private information that would only be seen by their current members, have online registrations for upcoming conferences and memberships, and have easy access to attach files to specific pages on their site.

The Solution:
After thorough review of our client’s goals, our development team tackled this challenge by integrating an updated custom web design into a content management system focusing on user roles and permissions. This allowed for the client to determine what information they would like to be viewed by the public, their members, and their site administer. By using this content management system, Ohio ASCD would be able to quickly update their site whenever necessary.
 
The Results:
After giving our client a few tutorial videos and walking them through their first set of changes to the site, Ohio ASCD is now editing and adding their new conference information without the help of a web guru. Their members are enjoying the new design as well as the simple functionality of receiving their tickets to conferences and purchasing new memberships when needed. Attendance to the client’s conferences has increased, memberships have been easily tracked, and Ohio ASCD is very pleased with the results.
