Designing Digitally, Inc. is a small, rapidly growing company looking for a talented, goal-oriented self-starter who has the ability to manage multiple development projects from start to finish within budget and without hindering development quality.

Job duties may include (but are not limited to):

  • Developing, planning, and managing implementation of activities for complex eLearning projects and programs with broad scope, high impact and long implementation time frames.
  • Managing end-to-end development process and encompass all aspects for new projects/programs and enhancements.
  • Ensuring all impacted organizations are coordinated with and represented.
  • Implementing methodologies, procedures, and systems necessary to produce a satisfactory outcome of the projects.
  • Developing work plans, resource requirements allocation, schedules, and priorities.
  • Coordinating all activities with the project(s) to include cost estimation, preparation, project schedule, implementation phases, and acceptance of project to ensure completion within time frame and budget.
  • Providing status reports on project progress to all relevant parties, internal and external.
  • Identifying problems outside procedural structure and recommend procedural changes requiring management approval to implement.
  • Providing quality assurance of the projects prior to client review.
  • Researching the newest eLearning industry trends and staying up to speed on learning methodologies.

Job Requirements

  • Developing, planning, and managing implementation of activities for complex E-Learning projects and programs with broad scope, high impact and long implementation time frames.
  • Able to understand the business processes enabled by the products supported and contributed to the solution "definition".
  • Possess best practice understanding of all aspects of the Define (Plan) and Analyze stages of product development
  • Able to understand the technology concepts used on projects in enough depth to challenge assumptions, estimates, approaches, and risks
  • Possess general understand of technical design programming database infrastructure and quality assurance for online learning
  • Project Management Thought Leader
  • Remain on the forefront of emerging industry practices
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
  • Manage the process of innovative change effectively
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources including: upper management, clients, and other departments
  • Familiarity with project management software such as: Microsoft Project, Open Project, etc.
  • Experience using ADDIE or Scrum framework for developing and/or sustaining complex products
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Experience in onshore/offshore delivery  model
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of project planning, development, and execution
