It is officially that time of the year again as the Learning Solutions Conference & Expo is just around the corner! This conference offers the opportunity for learning/training professionals, in a wide variety of industries, to get together and broaden their knowledge of the various learning technologies available to them. From March 27th - 29th, these professionals will connect with their peers and develop a better understanding of best practices and technology that will help grow their organizations and their careers. We here at Designing Digitally are thrilled to announce that our President, Andrew Hughes, will be leading two sessions at Learning Solutions. The first will be a day-long session on Monday, March 26th from 8:30 AM - 4:30. This session, called “Game Development and Gamification for Non-Programmers”, will teach beginners best practices in regards to creating an engaging experience in the production of either game development or gamification. If you are unsure what the differences are between gamification and Serious Games, be sure to catch his hour-long session on Tuesday, March 27th. From 2:30 PM - 3:30 he will lead a session titled “Gamification vs Serious Games: Differences and Similarities for L&D.”
