The questionnaire given after the course is over solves most of these problems. It allows Service Managers to understand better what issues employees are having throughout the course and identifies areas to support.
Hiring a new employee is another process that can prove immensely difficult for any manager. But all it takes is a well-thought-out plan, and DDINC has created exactly that with the Terminix “Hiring, Interviewing, & Creating Quality Talent Pools” course.
This eLearning course puts users in the role of a hiring manager. Employees must review options and select the best candidate for the job. As their first step, learners look over ten resumes and have to rate them on a scale of 1-3, with 1’s eliminated and the other two moving to the next step of recruitment. In this step, feedback is offered to the learner as needed.
Next, the learners are left with a smaller stack of resumes and have a full day of interviews with the remaining candidates. Alongside this step, they will also have a STAR rubric that will explain how to score an interview before they start accurately.
When selecting a potential hire, they will review their resume, the Job Interview Guide Questions, and the Terminix values. Once the interview has started, they will choose which questions to ask and guide the conversation. Feedback throughout this process is provided based on their decisions.
Once they complete the interview process, they will rate the conversation and move on to the following interview. When the interviews are over, they will choose the candidate they feel is most qualified and receive feedback based on this choice.
