Contractor Training Online Program for the U.S. Department of Transportation MARAD

Designing Digitally, Inc. formed a strategic partnership with the Department of Transportation’s MARAD Division to create the innovative MARAD Cargo Contractor Training System. This collaboration included a meticulous investigation to determine the most effective training methods and deployment strategies, ensuring a solution perfectly tailored to the needs. Our efforts resulted in developing a cutting-edge training web portal that offers a secure, intuitive, and user-friendly environment for contractors to access vital course materials.

We also introduced a comprehensive Learning Tracking System to monitor contractors’ progression and certification statuses efficiently, simplifying the certification process. Our team also developed customized training courses that feature dynamic scenarios and crucial information needed for docking foreign vessels in the United States. Furthermore, the system is equipped to keep detailed records of certified ships and captains, which aids in verifying contractors’ completed training.
